World Trip

Kazimierz

July 3, 2005

Needless to say I woke up late. There was not much left of the day so I ran some errands and walked around the city for a while. I went into Kazimierz since it was a part of town that I had not seen yet, and it actually is a really cool neighborhood full of little bars and cafes. It seemed like a great area to have a jazz festival.

I bummed around, drank some coffee, and was not in much of a mood to really do anything.

Eventually I headed back to Music Bar 9, which was a good old stand by for a Sunday night, as I found out on my first visit to Krakow two years ago. I hung out there for a little bit, and talked with one of the bartenders whom I met there two years ago.

Somehow I ran into Nicky there randomly and we chilled for a while. She met up with Shane, an Aussie guy she traveled with for a while before heading off to Poland. We were all tired and did not stay out long. However, Shane is pretty cool and is heading off to Gdynia next weekend for the Heineken Open'er festival to which I should be going to as well, so we may meet up there.
